The Chicago Bears keep up their hot start as they take down the Seattle Seahawks 34-17 on Monday Night Football.

The 2026 season has started well for the Chicago Bears, but they faced a major test on Monday as they faced the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks on the road in primetime.

That clearly didn't bother them too much, as the Bears shut down the Champions 7-0 in the first quarter, and at the half, they held on to a tight 13-9 lead, with the lone Chicago TD coming on a short TD pass from Caleb Williams to Luther Burden III.

The second half was much better on both sides of the ball for the Bears, as the team capped off the game with a 14-point fourth quarter as D'Andre Swift added not one, not two but three rushing Touchdowns to finish off the victory.

It was a fantastic night for the veteran running back, as he had 69 yards rushing along with two catches, and for a team that struggled early in the second half to finish off drives with big scores, he took that responsibility and steered the Bears to a win.

Unfortunately for Seattle, the offensive consistency just never showed up, with Sam Darnold limited to 188 yards and two Touchdowns, with the running game combining for just 81 yards on the night as the Seahawks struggled on the year continue.

The Bears balanced game on both sides of the ball shhowed up once again however, with 247 passing yards and 146 rushing yards on the night as Caleb Williams led this team to a 6-2 record as they climb closer to the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North standings.

As for Seattle, they are now 4-4 on the season, but given the struggles of the NFC West, they too sit in second place just behind the San Francisco 49ers as they can still turn things around despite being .500 through eight games played.
