The Kansas City Chiefs signed edge rusher George Karlaftis (24) to a four-year, $93 million extension on Sunday.
Karlaftis' deal includes $62 million in guaranteed money, keeping him on the team through 2030.
The former 2022 first-round pick has 24.5 sacks with the Chiefs over his first three seasons in the league, coming off a 2024 season with 35 tackles and 8.0 sacks.
The extension now places Karlaftis as the 10th highest-paid per year edge rusher in the NFL, making $23.25 million, which falls just below Rashan Gary ($24 million/year) and Montez Sweat ($24.5 million/year).
Only Zach Allen and the reigning sack leader, Trey Hendrickson, had more quarterback hits than Karlaftis last season.
