Houston Texans hired Nick Caley (42) on Monday as the team's new offensive coordinator, according to the team.

Caley spent the previous season as the Los Angeles Rams' tight ends coach (2023-2024) and passing game coordinator (2024), a year in which the team ranked 10th in passing offence.

He'll be taking the place of former offensive coordinator, Bobby Slowik, who was fired after spending the past two years with the Texans.

Caley spent the first eight years of his NFL coaching career with the New England Patriots (2015-2022) as a coaching assistant, tight ends coach, and full-backs coach.

The new gig with Houston will mark Caley's first-ever offensive coordinator position at both the collegiate and pro level.
