Offensive tackle La'el Collins returned to the Dallas Cowboys after the team signed him to a new deal on Saturday.

Details of the contract weren't revealed. The team brought in Collins for a workout on Friday before finalizing the deal.

Collins spent six seasons with the Cowboys before playing for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022. He technically was a member of the Buffalo Bills in 2024, but the team released him in August of that year.

The veteran hasn't played since that 2022 season with Cinci, but could see another chance after Cowboys tackle Tyler Guyton suffered a bone fracture at the beginning of camp that'll sideline him for four to six weeks.

The 32-year-old was originally projected to be a first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but ultimately went undrafted due to off-the-field reasons before signing with the Cowboys.

Eventually, Collins would go on to sign a five-year, $50 million extension with the Cowboys after posting the fifth-highest grade (86.4) among all tackles during the 2019 season.
