The Las Vegas Raiders signed veteran safety Jamal Adams (29) and veteran wide receiver Phillip Dorsett II (32) to a pair of deals on Tuesday.

Details of their new contracts with the Raiders weren't disclosed.

Adams will be reuniting with head coach Pete Carroll after their time with the Seattle Seahawks

This will now be Adams' third team in two seasons, spending time with the Tennessee Titans and Detroit Lions in 2024, playing a total of five games.

The former sixth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft spent the first three seasons of his career with the New York Jets, where he made a name for himself as one of the league's best safeties at the time.

Adams became a two-time All-Pro in his second and third seasons with the Jets before moving on to the Seattle Seahawks in 2020, where he earned his last All-Pro selection following a season where he put a career-best 9.5 sacks.

His career started to dwindle in 2022, having played in just 15 total games since. However, Adams says he's in the best shape of his life.

Phillip Dorsett II

Former Super Bowl champion (2019 - New England Patriots) Dorsett will now be heading to his seventh team in nine years.

The veteran and former 29th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft has never put up more than 600 receiving yards in a season, with his career-best being 528 with the Indianapolis Colts in 2016, with former quarterback Andrew Luck throwing him the ball - a QB who Dorsett had high praise for.

Dorsett, almost similar to Adams, only played in two games last year but could provide a nice veteran presence in a Raiders receiver core that doesn't have another player over 30.

He could now be a possible hehlp for newly signed veteran quarterback Geno Smith at times this upcoming season.
