Los Angeles Rams rookie defensive lineman Braden Fiske (25) will have knee surgery to fix an injury he sustained during the team's Divisional Round matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL Playoffs.

When talking to the media about it on Thursday, Rams head coach Sean McVay (39) described the procedure as 'minor' and that it won't affect Fiske's chances of playing at the start of the 2025 season.

Fiske is a finalist for the Defensive Rookie of the Year award alongside teammate Jared Verse (24). The rookie standout led the Rams with 8.5 sacks despite only starting eight of the 17 games he played in.

Fiske also racked up 44 tackles, 10 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles.

Fiske's 40 quarterback hurries also ranked third in the league among all defensive linemen, proving to be one of the NFL's top pass rushers.

The Rams took Fiske with the 39th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Florida State. Fiske only played one season as a Seminole after spending his first five seasons at Western Michigan, putting up back-to-back six-sack seasons before entering the draft.
