Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (29) released a statement on his personal Instagram page on Thursday after he refused to talk to any media members following the team's loss to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

Andrews, who was under immense scrutiny after dropping what would've been a game-tying catch, finally made his feelings public after the loss with countless Ravens teammates and fans showing their support for one of the league's class acts.

Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon and NFL Network's Kyle Brandt were two noticeable names who came to Andrews' defence. Other comments came from Ravens teammates Zay Flowers, Pat Ricard, Marlon Humphrey, Odafe Oweh, Rashod Bateman, and Derrick Henry.

The two-point conversion that Andrews dropped would've kept the Ravens in the game with a possible chance of advancing to back-to-back AFC Championship appearances.

Andrews' girlfriend, Elena Yates, also had to shut down her Instagram page after receiving multiple death threats from aggravated fans and bettors alike. So Bills fans did what they always do and donated over $90,000 to Andrews' charity that aims to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes, which Andrews himself was diagnosed with.

For those of you who aren't aware, this a tradition with Bills fans that has happened countless times donating to a charity for a player from the opposing team following a win. They've even donated to Ravens' quarterback Lamar Jackson's favourite charity, Louisville Chapter of Blessings, after Buffalo beat the Ravens in the 2021 playoffs.

Baltimore lost to Buffalo 27-25 and was knocked out of the playoffs for the third straight year. The team finished with a 12-5 record after winning the AFC North title.

Andrews finished the season with the most receiving touchdowns (11) of any tight end in football. The All-Pro also finished the season with 55 receptions and 673 yards.

As for the Bills, they are heading to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in an AFC Championship matchup. The winner will be taking on either the Washington Commanders or the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
