The Seattle Seahawks hired Andrew Janocko (36) as the new quarterbacks coach and John Benton (61) as the offensive line coach on Monday, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

Janocko and Benton were brought over from the New Orleans Saints offensive staff along with newly hired offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.

Janocko started the first two years of his coaching career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2012-2013) as an offensive assistant coach before making his way to the Minnesota Vikings where he spent the next seven years (2015-2021) in various roles that include: offensive quality control coach, assistant offensive line coach, wide receiver coach, and quarterback coach.

From 2022-2023 he was a member of the Chicago Bears staff as a quarterbacks coach before moving down to New Orleans for a year.

Benton has quite the resume. He was an offensive line coach for three teams (St. Louis Rams, Houston Texans, and Miami Dolphins) between 2004-2015 before joining the Jacksonville Jaguars for a year in 2016 as the assistant offensive line coach.

From 2017-2020, he was back to being the offensive coach, this time for the San Francisco 49ers. After his time in San Fran, he joined the New York Jets in the same role but also as an offensive run game coordinator before, like Janocko, spent a year in New Orleans.

The Seahawks ranked eighth in passing last season, but 28th in rushing and 18th in scoring.
