The Miami Dolphins signed defensive tackle Zach Sieler to a three-year, $67.75 million extension on Sunday.

Sieler will be getting $44 million in guaranteed money as part of his new extension with the Dolphins

He is now the highest-paid defensive player on the Dolphins, ahead of safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and linebacker Bradley Chubb.

The 29-year-old Sieler is coming off back-to-back seasons for the Dolphins with at least 10 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, 19 quarterback hits, one interception, and a forced fumble.

His 78.6 rating was 12th out of 219 defensive linemen last season, proving to be one of the game's best at his position.

In 85 games with the Dolphins, Sieler has posted a total of 306 tackles, 69 quarterback hits, 49 tackles for a loss, 30 Sacks, five forced fumbles, and two interceptions.

Originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the team waived him a year later before the Dolphins claimed him.

He turned into one of the game's best for Miami and will now remain in South Beach for the prime of his career.
