Anders Antonsen was in superb form in the quarter final at the Thailand Open and had no problems disposing of Su Li-yang from Taiwan.
The Danish World No. 3 dominated the match on Friday and won overwhelmingly in two sets with 21-11, 21-11.
Su Li-yang, who features in 47th place in the world rankings, had occasional good moments, but in the long run was no match for Antonsen.
The 29-year-old Dane is now ready for the semifinals, where he will face a significantly more difficult task in the face of Chinese Shi Yu Qi, the current World No. 1.
In the quarter-final, Antonsen's Taiwanese opponent got off to a good start, and the first half of the first set was relatively even before Antonsen turned the tide in his favour from 8-8.
Towards the end of the set, Su Li-yang had no chance, and Antonsen won it 21-11.
The second set followed the same pattern. The Taiwanese took a 5-2 lead, but Antonsen recovered strongly and secured another 21-11 set win to book his ticket for the semi-final.
Earlier on Friday, the Danish mixed doubles team with Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Boje also won their quarter-final.
The Danes won a close three-set match against the Chinese duo Wei Ya Xin and Gao Jia Xuan with 21-16, 18-21, 21-19.
In Saturday's semi-final, they will meet another Chinese duo in the face of Cheng Xing and Zhang Chi.
