The Colorado Rockies have now lost an MLB record 21 straight series (dating back to 2024) and hold the worst record in baseball at 9-46.

They are the only team in all of baseball without at least 10 wins after falling to the Chicago Cubs 4-3 in extra innings on Tuesday night.

Colorado is now on pace to lose over 140 games this season, giving them a high chance of setting a new worst record of all-time just a year removed from the Chicago White Sox accomplishing that feat after going 41-121.

The Rockies are 6-22 at home and 3-24 on the road this season.

They also have the worst team ERA (5.61), the worst batting average (.219), the second-fewest runs scored (176), and the most strikeouts (538), being one of only four teams with 500+ strikeouts.

Only two hitters on the Rockies have batting averages of .250 - catcher Hunter Goodman and left fielder Jordan Beck. Nobody on the team has more than 10 home runs or 40 RBI.

Colorado fired manager Bud Black and hitting coach Hensley Meulens this season but nothing has changed.

The final game of the series against the Cubs will take place in Chicago on May 28th.
