The 10th week (June 2nd to June 8th) is over with, and it was headlined by a flurry of homers, walk-offs, and even a touching moment!

As always, the highlights this week will be divided into the following categories: history, walk-offs, home runs, fielding, and pitching!

History

Pete Alonso not only passed New York Mets legend David Wright on the franchise's all-time home runs list, but he put up dual home runs in two separate games this past week - first against the Los Angeles Dodgers, then against the Colorado Rockies!

Walk-Offs

Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk got all of this one to give his team a walk-off win over the Philadelphia Phillies!

The Tampa Bay walked it off this past week after the Texas Rangers' infield had no idea what they were doing!

All Wilmer Flores had to do was move out of the way as the San Francisco Giants walked it off on a wild pitch!

Let's stay in the Bay Area as Matt Chapman gave the Giants their second walk-off of the week!

Not only did the Cincinnati Reds have a "walk-off catch" (see 'Fielding' section), but they also had a walk-off in extra innings - this one courtesy of Christian Encarnacion-Strand!

A pinch walk-off home run? Who else but St. Louis Cardinals star third baseman Nolan Arenado!

Home Runs

Do home runs come in threes? Well, they sure did for Detroit Tigers' Kerry Carpenter this past week!

Cincinnati Reds star Elly De La Cruz's home run this past week came with a little help from above.

Seattle Mariners standout star catcher Cal Raleigh hit a pair of home runs against the Los Angeles Angels this past week, making him the first player across the league to reach the 25 home run mark.

He is now the only player to reach it and leads the league with 26 homers.

Not one, but two home runs for Hunter Goodman against the Marlins this past week! The Colorado Rockies would go on to sweep the Miami Marlins for their first series sweep of the season.

Don't blink, you might just miss this bullet that Diamondbacks star Ketel Marte launched against the Atlanta Braves for his second home run of the game in just his second at-bat!

Phillies shortstop Tre Turner was just adding insult to injury with his second home run of the game against the Toronto Blue Jays last week!

Marte wasn't the only star on the Diamondbacks posting dual-homers - his teammate Corbin Carroll got in on the action as well!

Rangers shortstop Marcus Semien finally makes our weekly highlights after posting a dual home run game of his own after this shot against the Tampa Bay Rays!

Houston Astros' Isaac Paredes was also part of the growing dual-homer club!

Chicago Cubs left fielder Seiya Suzuki joined the club as well, being one of 10 different players to hit two home runs in a single game last week!

Alonso was the only Mets player with a dual-homer game as teammate Jeff McNeil had himself a game as well!

Pitching

Watch as Seattle Mariners starting pitcher George Kirby fans 14 of the Angels' hitters - marking a career-high and the most by a Mariners pitcher since James Paxton in 2018 when he struck out 16.

Fielding

Not even the Detroit Tigers players could believe what just happened with this circus out!

Miami Marlins left fielder Kyle Stowers isn't just showing out with his bat this year - he's also making outstanding plays in the field like this sliding catch!

It wasn't the prettiest jump we've seen this season, but Reds centrefielder TJ Friedl's game-saving catch will only be one of the few this season!

Athletics centrefielder Denzel Clarke may have earned himself a Catch of the Year nomination with this insane run down to deep left centre!

Kansas City Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. made sure to deny Victory Scott II a single on this perfect throw to first to catch the speedster!

Not only did Carpenter have himself a wild day at the plate this past week, he was also showcasing his arm strength!

Ronald Acuna Jr. is back and he has now made it back-to-back weeks on our highlights for his play in the field!
