The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without forward Isaac Okoro (23) for at least two weeks after he injured his shoulder during Monday's 130-101 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Okoro was diagnosed with a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder, which will be reevaluated in a couple of weeks closer to his return.

The five-year vet for the Cavs is averaging 6.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists this season. He is shooting a career-high field goal percentage (49.5) and three-point percentage (49.2).

The 2020 fifth overall pick in the NBA Draft who made his name in the league for his stellar perimeter defence signed a three-year, $38 million contract extension with the Cavaliers in the offseason that will keep him in Cleveland until  2027.

Opposing players are shooting 35.7% from behind the arc when Okoro is defending them, which is the lowest since his 2021-2022 season when they shot 35.5 per cent.

The Cavaliers currently hold the best record (23-4) in the NBA.
