General Manager of the Dallas Mavericks, Nico Harrison was behind the sensational Luka Doncic trade. This has now earned him death threats and racist insults.

It has been a week since the biggest NBA trade of the season. Completely unexpectedly, the Dallas Mavericks sent Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange mainly for Anthony Davis. It is a transfer that never stops being talked about.

But this time, it is for the wrong reasons. The Mavs' general manager Nico Harrison, the man behind this increasingly controversial transfer, is the target of Mavericks fans' resentment. But the problem is that certain barriers - as is all too often the case in this kind of situation - have now been crossed.

Indeed, the GM is now receiving death threats and racist insults on social networks. These incidents are serious enough for the franchise to deploy extra security around Nico Harrison, according to US insider Malika Andrews.

The GM himself has hired a security team to watch over his house, as specialists in the USA fear that things could get out of hand. As is often the case, the fans have lost their heads, and we hope that this is the end of the matter.
