The stage is finally set as two No. 1 seeds in Florida and Houston face off tonight in the NCAA Men's Championhip following their Final Four victories.

Florida proved to be too much for Auburn to handle as their leading man, Walter Clayton Jr,. led the team with 34 points.

Clayton and the rest of his Gators squad will be up against the toughest defense in the nation that held a high-powered Duke offense to just one field goal in 10 minutes during the Final Four.

It'll be all eyes on Hosuton's LJ Cryer to lead the team to their first ever NCAA Championship. He posted a clutch 26 points in the team's win over Duke.

So it'll be the showdown of the two best guards remaining in the tournament!

The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship tips off tonight, April 7th, at 8:50 p.m. Eastern time (New York). It will be televised on CBS.

Last week, our US editor's desk in Eric Himmelheber and David Parkes came out of the Final Four predictions 1-1, with the former choosing Houston and the latter choosing Florida.

Here's how their predictions stack up for tonight's big game!

Eric: Houston 76-68 Florida - I was singing Duke's praises all tournament long about how they looked like an unstoppable force. That was until Houston showed me why they're the number one defensive team in the nation.

If Houston was able to stop an overpowered Duke offensive unit that's also the tallest in the nation, I have no idea how Florida pulls this one off unless all of their guys become Stephen Curry from the three-point line.

In the last three NCAA Championships, the winner always posted 70 points or more, while the loser posted 69 points or less.

And with that Houston defence, which has only allowed 80 points or more twice this season, and have held all of their NCAA tournament opponents to 70 points or less, seeing Florida beating them in a shootout just doesn't seem likely (again, unless they hit all of their three-pointers.)

David: Florida 88-84 Houston - As Eric pointed out, Florida will need to rely on their three-point shooting this game but also avoid bad turnovers, which this team is prone to doing a lot of.

However, Florida is averaging just over 85 points per game in this tournament, which has been the third most behind Alabama and Gonzaga, the former of which beat Houston by putting up 85 points.

Auburn put up 22 personal fouls to Florida's 15 during the Final Four. If Florida can get J'Wan Roberts and Joseph Tugler into foul trouble earlier on with big men of their own, Houston could be in trouble.
