The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 3-1 in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series on Thursday.

LA is now one win away from sweeping the Brewers and advancing to the World Series for the second straight season - all it took was three runs on five hits for the Dodgers to get the job done.

After a Shohei Ohtani triple in the bottom of the first inning, Mookie Betts brought him home on an RBI single to go up 1-0.

Milwaukee would battle back, but for their only run of the game.

Caleb Durbin recorded a triple himself before Jake Bauers brought him home with an RBI single to tie it up.

Unfortunately for Milwaukee, they would record only one more hit for the next seven innings.

Dodgers second baseman Tommy Edman would bring in their second run of the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth. It would mark Edman's fifth straight game with a hit and his second straight with an RBI.

They would shortly score their third on a passed ball from Brewers pitcher Abner Uribe when he threw over to first.

Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow was dealing on Thursday.

He gave up the lone run on three hits through 5.2 innings, striking out eight and walking one.

After Brewers starter Aaron Ashby went just 0.1 innings, rookie sensation Jacob Misiorowski was lights out, giving his team chance after chance to get back into the game.

Misiorowski tossed 5.0 innings, striking out nine batters and walking one, giving up one earned run on just three hits.

His eighth strikeout came against Ohtani and tied a Brewers franchise postseason record for a rookie pitcher.

Milwaukee finished 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position, the Dodgers 2-for-6.

Game 4 of the NLCS is scheduled for Friday, October 17th, in Los Angeles.
