Frederik Emmery on Sunday put Danish champions AGF ahead 1-0 against Viborg with a wonderfully struck curling effort into the top left hand corner which is likely to be named Goal of the Year in the Danish Superliga. But that goal was quickly forgotten when the fan group "Samlet for Aarhus" displayed a controversial banner which has caused enormous tensions between management and the fan community.

AGF immediately terminated its sponsorship agreement with WindowMaster International A/S in the past week due to a highly controversial public claim linking their partnership to the use of fan pyrotechnics.

Oscar Boyter—a WindowMaster representative, strategic account manager, and son of the company's owner—stated in a Facebook debate that WindowMaster's sponsorship funds were meant to cover the fines imposed on AGF for fan pyrotechnics. He additionally implied that if AGF tightened its clampdown on pyro, it would impact the future of the sponsorship.

In light of AGF's decision to terminate the partnership WindowMaster International, the active fan umbrella group "Samlet for Aarhus" (SFA) on Sunday launched a coordinated atmosphere boycott and protest against the club's top management.

The fan group released a lengthy manifesto condemning management for ending a historically significant partnership based entirely on a personal social media post. They called the move a symptom of a deeper, growing "breach of trust" and communication gap between club executives and the core fan culture.

Regular stadium attendees reacted sharply during the game, shouting "get your act together" while the official AGF Fanclub Aarhus explicitly distanced itself from the protest issuing a statement backing CEO Jacob Nielsen and Chairman of the Board, Lars Fournais for transforming AGF from a struggling club into professional champions.

AGF won the match against Viborg 2-1 and will now face Brondby in a hugely enticing encounter next Sunday.
