Andreas Holst Jensen has been without a club since summer last year but now he is set to replace the gap at Flensburg-Handewitt after Simon Pytlick broke his arm.

Simon Pytlick left a big gap at Flensburg-Handewitt when he broke his arm a few weeks ago and was ruled out for the rest of the season.

Now, however, the club has found his temporary replacement

Flensburg-Handewitt confirm on their website that they have signed an agreement with Andreas Holst Jensen.

The two parties have agreed on an agreement for the rest of the season.

"It's a good opportunity for me and I'm really looking forward to playing in front of the club's fans. There are still some exciting matches left in the season, and I hope that I can help the team", says Andreas Holst Jensen.

The 30-year-old back most recently turned out for Rhein-Neckar Löwen, where his contract expired after last season.

He has previously played for clubs such as Montpellier, Aalborg Handball, GOG and his childhood club Lemvig-Thyboron.

"With Andreas, we get another opportunity in the back chain. He is a good player who brings the Danish philosophy to the club", says coach Ales Pajovic.

Simon Pytlick broke his arm in a European League game against Toulouse at the end of February.

In addition to Andreas Holst Jensen, Flensburg-Handewitt has signed a contract with right-back Marko Kopljar following Pytlick's injury.
