The Danish world handball player Mathias Gidsel with nine goals and outstanding goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev (eleven saves) starred as the big profiles for the home side, while German national team star Renars Uscins impressed with eight goals at the other end.
The Foxes are aiming for the first championship title in the club's history. They now have a two-point lead over their closest rivals MT Melsungen, while the Berlin club also have a much better goal difference compared to their rivals.
To the match centre: Füchse Berlin vs. TSV Hannover-Burgdorf
As so many times before this season, Füchse Berlin based their tactics around the threat of Gidsel and his Danish colleague, Lasse Andersson, while German star Renars Uscins at the other end did everything in his power to keep the visitors in the match.
The Danish duo scored a total of ten goals between them and were the main reason why the German capital club went into the break ahead by two.
Hannover focused a lot on limiting the influence of Gidsel and Andersson in the second half but this provided more space for the Berlin wingers, who rarely failed to find the target.
Füchse Berlin have seven games left before the end of the Bundesliga season. The club is also in the Champions League, where they will face Aalborg Handball on Thursday in the first of two quarter-finals.
