Polish Champions League outfit, Industria Kielce, have signed Aleks Vlah from Aalborg Handball. The Slovenian international will leave the Danish champions to join Kielce at the end of this season.

"When we signed Aleks in the Slovenian Celje, we saw great potential and development opportunities. This meant that other clubs also have shown great interest in him, including Kielce, who made an offer that both we and Aleks found satisfactory."

"Since we are at the same time more than well covered in terms of squad in the back chain for the coming season, all three parties agreed that it would make good sense for Kielce to sign Aleks already this summer, rather than first making a transfer in 2026, when Aleks' contract would otherwise expire", says Aalborg Handball director Jan Larsen.

Aleks Vlah is happy that the contract has been agreed but also sad to leave Aalborg

"I am incredibly grateful that Aalborg Handball brought me to the club two years ago. In my time here, I have already had many great experiences, not least winning the Danish championship and playing in a Champions League final.

"However, I have been given a unique opportunity at Kielce, which I could not refuse and am therefore happy that Aalborg Handball would not stand in the way of a change", says Aleks Vlah

Vlah has played 91 matches and scored 313 goals for Aalborg.
