Norwegian international Nora Mork sustained an ankle injury on Thursday evening in a collision with a referee.

Team Esbjerg will be without Norwegian right-back Nora Mork for the foreseeable future.

She left Wednesday's match against Horsens due to injury, and examinations have revealed a fracture in her left ankle, Team Esbjerg announced on their website.

"Examinations show that she has sustained a small, stable ankle fracture. Consequently, she will be unavailable for the upcoming period. Her condition and progress are being closely monitored by the medical staff," Team Esbjerg state on their website.

This puts her participation in the European Championship in December at risk.

The 35-year-old Mork, who joined Esbjerg in 2022, was injured after colliding with one of the match officials.
