According to TV2 Sport, Viborg HK have suspended their leading goalscorer, Christina Pedersen, after she has grown increasingly unpopular with her teammates.
It is allegedly personal problems between the playmaker and several of her teammates that have caused Viborg HK to suspend the club's leading goalscorer, who scored 164 goals last season.
Several Viborg players have refused to train if Christina Pedersen is present.
Viborg director Jens Steffensen confirms that the club is dealing with a personnel matter, but for the sake of "the player in question and the team," the director does not want to comment on the matter at this time.
It was only a few months ago that Viborg HK and Christina Pedersen extended the playmaker's contract until the summer of 2028. It is unknown if the suspension and the internal squabbles will have an effect on her future at the club.
