Norwegian international Nora Mork on Thursday made her comeback for in a friendly for Team Esbjerg after she gave birth in May.

Norwegian handball star Nora Mork is back on the handball court for the first time since September 2024.

The comeback took place in a training match on Monday evening, where Team Esbjerg – with Mork in the squad – defeated German HSG Blomberg-Lippe 33-24.

The Team Esbjerg star gave birth to her first daughter in May, which is why she has not been part of the squad since last Autumn. Before that, she was also plagued by physical problems in the wake of last summer's Olympics.

That is why the Norwegian star was very pleased to be back on the court.

"I don't get my night's sleep, so I'm probably a little more tired, but it's super cool to be back. I've missed it", said Nora Mork to JydskeVestkysten after the match.

"It went well. I feel great, and my body feels good, so I thought I was finally ready to play handball again", she continued.

However, the star also emphasizes that there is still a long way to go to return to the usual high level she has shown during her career.

Nora Mork joined Team Esbjerg in the summer of 2022, and she has a contract until the summer of 2026.
