Team USA's forward Matthew Tkachuk (27), and one-half of the team's personal Bash Brothers, sustained a lower-body injury during Saturday's 3-1 over Canada, but he says not to worry.

"No concern at all," said Tkachuk. "I feel good. Definitely way better after a win. Should be all good."

USA clinched a spot in the championship match after their win over Canada, who is now tied with Finland and Sweden with two points in the standings.

According to head coach Mike Sullivan, Tkachuk is undergoing evaluation from the team's doctors and will report back with more information when it becomes known to him.

"We'll make decisions that we think is best for Matthew and we think is best for our team," said Sullivan.

Matthew was involved in the first of three fights that happened within the first nine seconds of the game on Saturday.

He is tied for second on the team in goals with two alongside his brother, Brady Tkachuk, which he scored against Finland in the team's first game.

If Matthew is unable to go, Chris Kreider will take his spot on the roster for the matchup against Sweden, who is coming off back-to-back overtime losses to Canada and Finland.
