Both sides had contrasting results in their midweek UEFA Champions League games - with Monaco drawing against Pafos while PSG won an eight-goal thriller against Tottenham.

A goal to the good, Monaco looked to be heading for a first victory in six meetings, but their task was made a lot more difficult with 10 minutes to go when Thilo Kehrer was shown a straight red card for denying a goal-scoring opportunity by hauling down Ibrahim Mbaye.
Luis Enrique’s men were unable to make their numerical advantage count in the final 10 minutes, however, with their run of three consecutive league victories coming to an end.
Victory for the Monegasques lifts them up into the European places and just a point adrift of the top four, while PSG could finish the gameweek in third place if Marseille and Lens are victorious.
