Oilers 4-1 Rangers
McDavid became the fastest player in NHL history to reach 30 assists in a season (15 games), beating out the legend Wayne Gretzky by one game.
But he extended his point streak after scoring his ninth goal of the season just 50 seconds into the game after flying by every Rangers player in his way.
Evan Bouchard also made history with his 18th assist of the season on Colton Dach's first goal of the game. His 26 points through 15 games are the third-most by a defenseman in NHL history, falling behind Detroit Red Wings' Al MacInnis (27) and Boston Bruins' Bobby Orr (30).
In the second period, Bouchard also tallied his eighth goal of the season with assists from Leon Draisaitl (15) and McDavid (30).
Pavel Dorofeyev (4) scored the lone goal for the Rangers before Dach's second goal, his third of the season, in the third period to seal the game away.
Edmonton native Matt Tomkins earned his first win in his Oilers debut after putting up 27 saves. It marked his first win as a goalie since April 17, 2024, as he's now officially in just his second year in the league despite being 32 years old.

The Anaheim Ducks led what will be considered one of the wildest comebacks of the season. After the Senators got out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, the Ducks proceeded to score six straight goals between the second and third.
Cutter Gauthier accounted for half of them with his second career hat tricks, with the final four goals scored by the Ducks overall being on the power play. The first three were scored within four total minutes of each other in terms of ice time.
