SG Flensburg-Handewitt continue to set the pace in the new Handball Bundesliga season. Coach Ales Pajovic's team celebrated a 39-30 (19-13) victory at TBV Lemgo Lippe on Thursday, marking their fourth win in four games.

Flensburg has thus reclaimed the top spot in the standings. The only other teams with a perfect record are record champions THW Kiel and defending champions SC Magdeburg, both of whom will play their fourth match this weekend.

In Lemgo, Flensburg took control from the very first minute and never trailed at any point in the game. Once again, the leading goal scorer was Dane Simon Pytlick with nine goals.
