Goalkeeper

Yann Sommer (Inter) 7.8

He may have conceded three goals over the two legs, but Sommer generally performed well in Inter's tie with his former club Bayern Munich.

The 36-year-old makes it into this team largely because of his display in the first leg, in which he made six saves to limit Bayern to just one goal from 2.30 xG.

Defence

Achraf Hakimi (PSG) 7.6

Bombing forward from right-back, Hakimi was a real handful in both of PSG's matches against Aston Villa.

His most important contribution was the opening goal he scored in the second leg, but he played his part at the back too, making five clearances, two tackles and two interceptions over the two legs.

Alessandro Bastoni (Inter) 7.4

Like Sommer, Bastoni was also hugely impressive in Inter's win in Munich last week, in particular, winning nine of his 11 duels and making five tackles.

He had a harder time in the return leg, but didn't do too much wrong.

Nuno Mendes (PSG) 7.8

Mendes has been one of the standout players of this year's Champions League campaign, and that was very much the case in the quarter-finals.

The left-back got two goals and one assist across the two games with Villa, and both of those goals were excellent finishes, too.

Midfield

Desire Doue (PSG) 7.8

What a breakout season Desire Doue is having, with the 19-year-old further establishing himself as one of the most exciting talents in the world against Villa.

He equalised in the first leg with a simply stunning strike from the edge of the box, and created a number of chances in both games.

Fermin Lopez (Barcelona) 8.0

Fermin has quietly become an important player for Barcelona this season, and showed why against Borussia Dortmund.

He set up his side's third goal in the first leg with a driving run and perfect cutback, and misplaced just two passes across the two games, keeping things ticking over excellently as his team's number 10.

Declan Rice (Arsenal) 8.0

Undoubtedly the standout player of the quarter-finals, Declan Rice stunned the world when he scored two incredible free-kicks in Arsenal's first-leg win over Real Madrid.

His second-leg performance wasn't as spectacular but was another excellent one, with the midfielder proving crucial at both ends of the pitch in an all-action display.

Khivicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG) 7.7

He didn't have too much joy in the second leg, but Kvaratskhelia deserves his place in this team for what he did in Paris alone.

The winger put PSG ahead with one of the goals of the season, rolling the ball past the defender with a sumptuous bit of skill before smashing it into the roof of the net from a tight angle. He created numerous other chances with his dribbling and passing, too.

Attack

Ousmane Dembele (PSG) 7.8

Dembele is simply unstoppable right now, with the Frenchman getting two assists and making a total of 11 key passes across the two games with Villa.

With these performances on the biggest stage, he's really starting to put himself into the Ballon d'Or conversation.

Mikel Merino (Arsenal) 7.7

Injuries to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus have been a blessing in disguise for Arsenal because Merino has been a revelation up top as their makeshift striker.

He scored Arsenal's third in their first-leg win against Real Madrid with a fantastic finish that would have been spoken about a lot more if it didn't follow Rice's free-kicks, and then got assists with two lovely through balls in the Spanish capital.

Lautaro Martinez (Inter) 8.0

Martinez has taken the Champions League by storm this season, with the Argentine now on eight goals in 11 games.

He bagged one in each of the games against Bayern, and his opener in the second leg, an outside-of-the-boot finish, was an absolute beauty.
