7 - Panathinaikos earned an impressive win, defeating Fiorentina 3-2 at home. The Greeks went up by two early on in a hectic first half, but scored their winner a few minutes before the hour mark. The win was the Greek club's seventh versus Italian opposition. Their last success in such a game came in 2010 versus AS Roma in the round of 32 of the Europa League. Pana advanced from that tie, prevailing 3-2 in both legs.
3 - Molde raced to a 3-0 lead at home to Legia Warszawa. While the Poles did attempt to stage a comeback, the hosts held on for a 3-2 win. The Norwegians, in this round for the second year running, have now won their last three matches versus Legia. They came out on top in both legs of the knockout playoffs last term before losing in this round to Club Brugge. Fittingly, Molde have scored three goals in each of those wins.
4 - Chelsea were made to work in their trip to Denmark, but in the end, the Blues edged FC Kobenhavn 2-1. All seven games in the Conference League proper have ended in victory for Enzo Maresca's men. It is the first time in four years that Chelsea have won four straight European away games in the same season. In that same season, they would go on to win the Champions League.
13 - Vitoria Guimaraes earned a 2-2 draw against the favoured Real Betis. The Spaniards, trying to make their first European quarter-final in 27 years, twice led in the match, but failed to hold on. Vitoria are now unbeaten across their 13 European matches this season, qualifiers included. The only other side yet to lose in Europe this season are Manchester United in the Europa League.
6 - Paphos have thoroughly enjoyed their maiden European journey, and can now add another home win to their incredible run. The Cypriot side topped Djurgarden 1-0 to give themselves the upper hand heading to Sweden. In the process, they earned their sixth clean sheet of the season, all at home (qualifiers included); no team left in the Conference League have more. They have conceded just twice across their eight UECL home matches this term, winning seven of the eight games.
11 - Celje are also making waves in the UECL, as the Slovenian champions defeated Lugano 1-0. A goal midway through the first half has them on the cusp of a sizeable upset over a Lugano side who lost just once during the league phase. Celje are now unbeaten in 11 home games in Europe (7-4-0) since losing 4-3 to Vitoria Guimaraes in Q2 last term. They also remain unbeaten versus Swiss clubs (1-2-0).
5 - Jagiellonia Bialystok have looked good at home in the Conference League this term. The Polish outfit defeated 10-man Cercle Brugge 3-0 at home to put themselves in a commanding spot in the tie. It is five without defeat in the UECL at home for them, with them winning four of those matches, while also keeping four clean sheets. As for Cercle, they have conceded three or more goals in a European away game for the fifth time in club history, and the second time this season. They also let in three goals in their defeat to Vikingur Reykjavik during the league phase.
14 - Borac Banja Luka and Rapid Wien played to a 1-1 stalemate in Bosnia, as the hosts levelled things up in the 92nd minute via a penalty. What a fascinating second leg we will have in Austria on Thursday. Borac mustered 14 shots in the match, the second most they have had in the UECL proper. They managed six more during their league phase victory over LASK.
