Ajax have reportedly signed Polish wonderkid Jan Faberski to a long-term extension.

The 19-year-old Faberski joined Ajax from Jagiellonia Bialystok in 2022 and impressed in the Amsterdam club's youth ranks. The Polish U19 international played 34 games for Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie last season, scoring four goals and assisting three more.

According to several Dutch sources, Ajax and Faberski have now agreed on a contract extension that will keep the Polish talent in Amsterdam until 2030. Faberski has not made his debut for the first team yet, but will likely do so next season.

Faberski refused to discuss a contract extension last summer as the young Pole saw little perspective at the Amsterdam club. Under John Heitinga, Faberski will get the chance to show his worth in preseason.

Jan Faberski will compete for the right-wing spot in the senior squad with Bertrand Traore, Steven Berghuis, Rayane Bounida, and likely Raul Moro, who's reported to join Ajax on an €11-million deal from Real Valladolid.
