Not a single player from Lazio, who came top of the Europa League's main league phase, made it into Flashscore's starting XI. However, AS Roma, Lyon and Midtjylland have two players in the side, while four footballers have received the highest rating of 7.9. The only condition for inclusion in the team is appearing in half of the matches.

Goalkeeper

Hendrik Bonmann (Ludogorets) 7.2

The German goalkeeper was the highest-rated player in his position according to Flashscore. Bonmann appeared in four matches, keeping two clean sheets against Lazio and Plzen. He made a total of 20 saves, but despite his great efforts, the Bulgarian team did not finish among the 24 advancing teams.

Defenders

Rodinei (Olympiakos) 7.5

The experienced Brazilian defender hit in all eight duels, and in as many as three of them, he was the best player according to Flashscore. His performance against Braga was particularly good, in which he contributed assists to two of his team's three goals. The right-back made a significant contribution to the Greek team's seventh-place finish.

Gianluca Mancini (AS Roma) 7.6

The mainstay of the Roma team may not have started all the games, as he was also given a day off due to the league schedule, but the defensive lineup was always more solid with him in the lineup. Mancini backed this up with a goal against Royale Union and an assist against Frankfurt. Roma, however, must fight in the play-offs after advancing in 15th place.

Angelino (AS Roma) 7.4

The Spanish wing-back is the second player from Roma in the team. He has been dangerous on the wing throughout the whole tournament. Apart from two assists, he managed to score the winning goal in the final game against Frankfurt. He made his first appearance in the Europa League since August 2023, when he was still with Galatasaray.

Midfielders

Rayan Cherki (Lyon) 7.9

The skilful youngster showcased through the league phase why he has attracted interest among the world's biggest team. Along with four other players, he had the highest average rating. Cherki was involved in six goals and shone especially in the December win over Frankfurt, when he was involved in every goal.

Corentin Tolisso (Lyon) 7.6

Tolisso played in Europe for the first time since the 2021/22 edition and he proved what an asset he is. He directed Lyon's play from midfield and was involved in no fewer than four goals. It was his intervention in the Ludogorets game in the last round that secured a draw and thus the certainty of a top-eight finish for Lyon.

Dario Osorio (Midtjylland) 7.6

Although Danish Midtjylland only finished 20th, they have two representatives in this side. Osorio has been in the crosshairs of clubs from the top leagues for a while now, and his performances in the Europa League could soon earn him an interesting transfer. He scored two goals - one was a winner and the other secured a draw, with both coming from outside the penalty area.

Aral Simsir (Midtjylland) 7.9

The technically very well-equipped Turk may not have played all the games due to health problems, but when he was on the pitch, his contribution was really huge. He provided three assists and in only three of the five games he played he had a rating of at least 8.0. In addition, he was twice the best player of the game according to Flashscore.

Forwards

Bertrand Traore (Ajax) 7.8

The African forward scored his seventh Europa League goal for Ajax in their last game against Galatasaray since the competition switched to that name in the 2009/10 season, the most among the club's players. In total, he has played a part in five goals this season. Three times he had a rating higher than 8.0 according to Flashscore and twice he was man of the match.

Omar Marmoush (Frankfurt) 7.9

Although he's moved to Manchester City, the Egyptian striker was a key player for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga and Europa League. Six games in that competition earned him four goals and two assists. He also managed to achieve a rating higher than 8.0 four times, which speaks for itself.

Hamza Igamane (Rangers) 7.9

The Moroccan finisher quickly got used to not only British but also European football after arriving from his domestic league. He proved that with four goals and one assist in the competition. Thanks to his performance, Rangers drew with Tottenham and won in Nice, where he was involved in three goals. The Scottish club advanced in eighth place, avoiding the play-offs.
