Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said he will ensure his players use Sunday's 4-1 loss at Sevilla to fix the mistakes going forward as they look to defend their LaLiga title.

Flick's men have now suffered two successive defeats in all competitions following their 2-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday. Sunday's defeat also snapped their unbeaten start in LaLiga, and they now trail leaders Real Madrid by two points.

"Today, I have to accept this defeat, and I'm looking positive, in a way. We also see the negative points in our game, which we have to change," Flick, whose side are on 19 points from eight games, told reporters.

"The first half wasn't good... we had no solutions to play out, it was really not good. But in the second half, the reaction, I appreciate a lot. What we did, how we played, it was really good to see.

"With this defeat, this emotion... It's important that we keep it, and when we start again after the break, we will fight. We will fight for every title."

Flick said he was happy that the players were going away on an international break, with the club returning to action on October 18th against Girona.

"At the moment, it's good we have a break, also for the players to play for the national teams. I think it's a different atmosphere there, maybe," the coach said.

"When they are back... then we try and work hard to (get back) on our level, what we normally want to play. This is the most important thing, but also, again, we need some players on their top level."
