It's a weekend all about rivalries in the world of sport, with perhaps the biggest in the Premier League and the Bundesliga on show and one of tennis' greatest producing its latest chapter.

Here's what Flashscore's editors will be watching.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Milwaukee Brewers, NLCS Game 4 - 02:40 CET

The Los Angeles Dodgers are on the cusp of making it to the World Series in back-to-back years as they look to sweep the Brewers in the National League Championship Series.

Milwaukee's season is all but over at this point since no team in NLCS history have ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit. It's a surprising development considering the Brewers finished the regular season as the best team in baseball.

However, their bats have gone completely cold while the Dodgers' pitching staff continues to be the reason why.

From Blake Snell's one-hit, eight-inning start in Game 1, followed by Yoshinobu Yamamoto's complete game in Game 2, to Tyler Glasnow's solid performance in Game 3, the Dodgers now have Shohei Ohtani on the bump for Game 4.

Milwaukee have only been able to record one run in each of the three games and have failed to record more than four hits in all of them.

The only saving grace for the Brewers to keep the series alive is that their young star Jackson Chourio is expected to play in Game 4 after leaving yesterday's matchup with a hamstring injury that he said was a bad cramp.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund - 18:30 CET

The immovable object meets the unstoppable force in the Bundesliga this weekend for Der Klassiker.

Borussia Dortmund have had a sparkling start to their domestic campaign with four wins and two draws, but they have been usurped in terms of form by their ever-dominant rivals Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians have six wins from six so far, having scored 25 goals and conceded three in the process. With this in mind, Dortmund head to the Allianz Arena as underdogs with just a 15% chance of winning according to Opta.

They will have to keep both Luis Diaz and Harry Kane quiet if they are to get a result on Saturday evening. The Colombian has nine goal contributions in the Bundesliga, whilst Kane has 11 and was named Flashscore’s Player of the Month for September.

Anything but a win for Bayern will be a disappointment, and Dortmund will be hoping to spoil the party in this fixture that always provides drama.

Carlos Alcaraz vs Jannik Sinner, Six Kings Slam final - 20:00 CET

We ordinarily wouldn't put an exhibition tournament in here, but when Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner face off, you just can't miss it.

Another chapter is being added to what is already one of tennis' greatest rivalries ever in Saudi Arabia, where the two will battle it out to win the Six Kings Slam and a eyewatering $4.5 million, making it the biggest payday on the calendar.

Perhaps because of that payday, it's an exhibition tournament only in name for the Spaniard and the Italian, with both playing some of their best tennis to beat Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic in straight sets in the semis.

They weren't taking things easy in last year's final either, with Sinner beating Alcaraz 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 in a battle that lasted well over two hours.

Alcaraz has won four of their five matches since then including both of their hard-court clashes - although Sinner did retire from one of them in the first set - to surpass the Italian and become world number one, so Sinner will be keen to wrestle back some momentum and shut down the narrative of this becoming a one-sided rivalry.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Los Angeles Rams - 15:30 CET

In the 43rd London game in NFL history, the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) return to their second home and will face the Los Angeles Rams (4-2), who have it all to prove after their Week 5 loss to the San Francisco 49ers (26-23) and somewhat lacklustre consequent 17-3 win against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Jaguars have started their season off strong with some strong wins, including a staple win against the Kansas City Chiefs in early October. Last week ended in disappointment, however, as the Seattle Seahawks marched into Jacksonville and held them to their lowest points total of the season in a 20-12 win.

The Florida team will continue their season series against the NFC West against the Rams, who will most likely be without star receiver and league receptions leader Puka Nacua, who suffered an ankle sprain in last week’s win in Baltimore. They return to London for the first time since 2019, when they beat the Bengals 24-10 at Wembley - the same venue as this Sunday’s final game of the 2025 London series.

It will only be the fifth international game in the Rams’ history, in which they went 2-2 outside of the States. They won the last two, however, while the Jaguars won three of their last four London games.

It’s promising to be an interesting affair at Wembley, which sees at least 85,000 NFL fans celebrate their sport at the English temple.

Liverpool vs Manchester United -17:30 CET

The headline Premier League fixture of the weekend comes on Sunday afternoon, as Arne Slot’s Liverpool host rivals Manchester United in a high-stakes clash at Anfield.

The Reds - who have lost just one of the last 14 league head-to-heads - will be desperate to return to winning ways after a run of three successive defeats before the international break.

Home advantage could be key for Slot’s men, with Liverpool winning all five of their matches on home soil so far this campaign, including victories over Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Everton.

As for Man Utd, two wins from their last three Premier League matches have lifted them to 10th in the table. However, under-fire boss Ruben Amorim will need a vastly improved display from his players on Sunday as they look to halt an eight-game winless league run on the road (D2, L6).

That is the Red Devils’ longest such streak since 1989, and while a trip to Anfield is always a difficult task, the hosts’ poor recent form could present the perfect opportunity for Man Utd to end their away woes.
