Danish Everton-winger Jesper Lindstrom hasn't scored in no less than 77 successive matches, but the former Eintracht Frankfurt player hopes that his stay in Liverpool will turn his career in the right direction after his miserable stay in Naples.

Lindstrom is according to Transfermarkt the attacking player in the price range of 150 million. Danish (approx. 20 million EUROs), who has failed to find the net for the longest time (as of 8. March). Since then he twice been on the pitch without scoring.

Lindstrom tops the list ahead of Geovany Quenda (Sporting Lisbon, 28, games) and Lee Kang-In (PSG, 23 matches).

"It's annoying, because you want to score goals and make assists as an offensive player, but I had a tough year in Napoli and am starting to find the rhythm here, so I'm not nervous. I have proven that I can score goals and create chances", says Lindstrom to bt.dk

"I don't think 100% that I got the chance in Italy," says Lindstrom who struggled to settle into the style of play in Italy.

"The Italian league is a bit more closed, and I don't think that suits the way I play football. I need more space for my style of play", says Lindstrom who also points out that it was hard to communicate with the coaching team as they didn't speak very well English in Naples.

Jesper Lindstrom can potentially make a comeback in the Danish national team in the in the Nations League quarter-final fixtures to be played Thursday and Sunday in Copenhagen and Lisbon.
