Another set of Premier League matches have come and gone, meaning it's time to take a look at who makes Flashscore's Team of the Week.

Liverpool opened up an 11-point lead at the top of the table with a 2-0 win at Manchester City, which came after Arsenal slipped to a 2-0 defeat at home to West Ham.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa downed Chelsea 2-1, Newcastle won a thriller 4-3 against Nottingham Forest and Manchester United recovered to gain a 2-2 draw at Everton.

Based on Flashscore's player ratings, here's the latest Premier League Team of the Week:

Goalkeeper

Alisson (Liverpool) 7.7

Alisson helped Liverpool keep Manchester City at bay making five saves in a 2-0 win which extended their Premier League lead to 11 points.

It wasn't the busiest of games for the Brazilian but he was reliable when called upon, which is exactly what Arne Slot would have wanted from him.

Emiliano Martinez also recorded a 7.7 for his role in Aston Villa's 2-1 win over Chelsea but on the basis of Alisson keeping a clean sheet, we've given him a spot in the team.

Defence

Jack Hinshelwood (Brighton) 8.3

The versatile Jack Hinshelwood slotted in confidently at right-back at the expense of the injured Joel Veltman as Brighton battered lowly Southampton 4-0.

The 19-year-old won nine duels and two tackles in the south coast encounter and capped off the display with a calm finish for Brighton's fourth goal.

Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United) 8.3

Noussair Mazraoui came out as Manchester United's best defender as they came back from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 at Everton.

The Moroccan won five tackles and aerial duels and made eight clearances as the points were shared at Goodison Park.

Lewis Hall (Newcastle) 8.3

Plenty of involvement from Lewis Hall saw Newcastle eventually hold on to earn a 4-3 win against Nottingham Forest in a crazy match at St James' Park.

Hall first set up Lewis Miley's equalising goal then connected well with Alexander Isak before winning Newcastle a penalty after his ball into the box was handled.

Midfield

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) 8.7

There seems to be no stopping Mohamed Salah this season as he recorded a goal and an assist as Liverpool took down Manchester City 2-0 to push their league lead to 11 points.

The Egyptian opened the scoring with a deflected effort before teeing up Dominik Szoboszlai to double the Reds' lead.

Salah is now the first player to register 25+ goals and 15+ assists in a Premier League season and is the first across Europe's top five leagues to be involved in 50 goals this term.

Marco Asensio (Aston Villa) 8.3

Aston Villa's January recruits are hitting the ground running with Marco Asensio showcasing his talents to spark victory over Chelsea.

Two goals from the Spaniard were enough to push Villa into the win column, while he also demonstrated why Unai Emery pushed to bring him in with his deft touch and eye for passes.

Christian Norgaard (Brentford) 8.7

He may have only played the first half but Brentford captain Christian Norgaard helped the Bees pile the misery on Leicester as they won 4-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Norgaard lifted Brentford into a 3-0 first-half lead with a simple headed effort before he was withdrawn at the break after sustaining a knock.

Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) 8.3

Bruno Fernandes did his utmost to ensure United would be leaving their trip to Everton with something as he put in an all-action midfield display.

Fernandes halved United's deficit with a wonderful dipping free-kick from around 20 yards out to drag his team back into the picture.

The Portuguese ended with three dribbles completed, four tackles and eight duels won and a game-high 65 passes completed.

Brennan Johnson (Tottenham) 8.5

Brennan Johnson netted two goals on his return to the starting lineup as Tottenham took down Ipswich 4-1 to notch their third Premier League win in a row.

The Wales international scored two well-taken goals and was narrowly denied a hat-trick later in the second half as Spurs took home all three points at Portman Road.

Forwards

Matheus Cunha (Wolves) 8.1

Another unplayable display from Matheus Cunha helped carry Wolves to a valuable 1-0 win on their travels to Bournemouth.

Cunha's lone goal was enough to earn the points for the visitors - his clinical finish being the game-winner and his 14th of the campaign.

Marcus Rashford (Aston Villa) 8.0

Marcus Rashford made a massive impact off the bench for Aston Villa as the Manchester United loanee contributed to both of Asensio's goals against Chelsea.

Rashford's square pass was eventually bundled home before his ball into the box was converted by Asensio, with a little bit of help from a Filip Jorgensen error.
