A few minutes after playing his last game of the season for Al Nassr, which ended in a 3-2 defeat to Al Fateh, Cristiano Ronaldo posted a cryptic message which could mean he is readying himself to depart the club.
"This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all," wrote the Portuguese international, who scored his 25th league goal during the loss, thus putting himself top in the list of Saudi Arabia's top scorers this season.
Ronaldo's contract with Al Nassr expires at the end of June, and in recent weeks he has been linked with several clubs around the world.
The 40-year-old has played a total of 111 games for Al Nassr thus far, scoring 99 goals and providing 19 assists.
