AGF in January lost the 16-year old striker Mikkel Bro Hansen to Europa League semifinalists, Bodo/Glimt without securing a transfer fee for the much appraised youngster. Tonight he scored his second hat-trick in two matches for the arctic top side.

Mikkel Bro Hansen was in high demand amongst a number of clubs for a long time, but AGF never managed to sign a contract with him, which is why the Aarhus team did not receive any transfer fee.

Ever since Mikkel Bro Hansen turned 15 almost a year ago, AGF tried in vain to make an agreement with him.

"In connection with Mikkel's 15th birthday, we repeatedly tried to reach an agreement with the player and his advisors. However, the demands regarding salary and clauses were at such a level that it was not a responsible business model for the club", said Head of Recruitment, Jeppe Ørskov for AGF to Bold.dk in January.

Norwegian Europa League semifinalists, Bodo/Glimt didn't not have any reservations about the financial demands from Mikkel Bro Hansen and chose to sign the 15-year old in January.

"I can see myself on this team. I trained in Bodo for two days in December, and it was great. Everyone was super nice and welcomed me in a good way. It was a no brainer to move here. Bodo/Glimt has a clear plan for me, and it sounds really cool to move here to train with the first team every single day", said Mads Bro Hansen when he signed for the Norwegians.

Today Mikkel Bro Hansen made his second start for Bodo after scoring a hat-trick against Innstranda in his debut and again underlined his talent by scoring a hat-trick in the Norwegain Cup-game against Junkeren which Bodo/Glimt won 5-1.

Bodo/Glimt will face Tottenham in the first leg of the Europa League semifinal next Thursday in London.
