FC Midtjylland has signed Magnus Jensen from Sonderjyske. The 29-year-old central defender has signed a contract running until the summer of 2029.
Magnus Jensen joined Sonderjyske last summer and, in his debut season, made 31 appearances and scored five goals across all competitions. He helped the team reach the championship playoffs, and in the opening match of the current season, he made his mark by scoring against FC Midtjylland in Haderslev.
Now, his career continues in Herning.
"Magnus is a player we have known about and evaluated for quite some time. He has extensive Superliga experience, is accustomed to shouldering significant responsibility, and possesses key attributes that align perfectly with the demands we place on our defenders."
"He is physically strong, excellent in the air, and has demonstrated over several seasons that he is a threat during attacking set-pieces. He defends his own box with great consistency and is a warrior in duels. At the same time, he knows the league inside out and can step straight in to compete for a spot," says Midtjylland Sporting Director Kristian Bach Bak.
The move to FC Midtjylland fulfills a long-held ambition for Magnus Jensen.
