There were goals aplenty all over Europe's top leagues at the weekend and that led to a number of players picking up high ratings in Flashscore's internal system.

This is the latest Team of the Week that we picked out using that system:

Goalkeeper

Paulo Gazzaniga (Girona) 8.1

Still going strong at the age of 33, Paulo Gazzaniga kept a clean sheet in the half that he played for Girona against Rayo Vallecano, making four excellent saves.

He was forced off with an injury at half-time and his side went on to lose 2-1.

Defenders

Przemyslaw Frankowski (Lens) 9.2

Lens secured a 1-0 win at home to Angers thanks to right wing-back Przemyslaw Frankowksi, who scored the only goal of the game with a cool finish in the box just after half-time.

The Polish player also did his job defensively with six tackles and six interceptions.

Noahkai Banks (Augsburg) 8.3

Noahkai Banks played a big part in Augsburg's 2-1 win over Heidenheim with the 18-year-old American making 11 clearances and misplacing just one of his 53 passes, with all seven of his long balls reaching their target.

Weverson (Arouca) 8.7

Arouca's star man in their 1-0 win over Moreirense was left-back Weverson, who made three key passes, seven tackles and won 11 of the 13 duels that he had with opponents.

Midfielders

Fermin Lopez (Barcelona) 9.5

Our highest-rated player of the weekend was Barcelona talent Fermin Lopez, who was the star of the show in their 7-1 drubbing of Valencia.

The 21-year-old scored his side's fourth and fifth goals and set up two either side of them, becoming the first Barcelona player to get two goals and two assists since Lionel Messi. Not bad company to be in.

Guus Til (PSV) 9.3

PSV were in serious danger of going three league matches without a win for the first time in over two years when they went 1-0 down against NAC, but Guus Til turned things around with two goals in 10 minutes.

The Dutch midfielder is now on to nine goals and seven assists in all competitions this season.

Christantus Uche (Getafe) 8.9

Young Nigerian Christantus Uche impressed as Getafe's number 10 in their surprise 3-0 win away to Real Sociedad, pouncing on a rebound to open the scoring in the 72nd minute before setting up his side's third with a clever cut-back.

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) 9.3

Cody Gakpo has very much established himself as one of the best wingers in the world this season and continued to do so with two goals in Liverpool's win over Ipswich.

The Dutchman has now scored in six Premier League home games in a row, surpassing Ruud van Nistelrooy and Robin van Persie to become the first man from his nation to do so.

Forwards

Dango Ouattara (Bournemouth) 9.0

Bournemouth are thriving even with the two main strikers in their squad out injured, and that's largely thanks to how good Dango Ouattara has been playing up top in their absence.

The 22-year-old scored the first hat-trick of his career in his side's brilliant 5-0 demolition of Nottingham Forest and his first goal - a stunning jump and header - was particularly special.

Rey Manaj (9.1) Sivasspor

Sivasspor put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone in Turkey with a crucial 5-2 win over Kayserispor, and that match was won largely by Albanian striker Rey Manaj.

He scored the first and last goal of the game, the latter of which was one of the best of the weekend, and also bagged two assists.

Kylian Mbappe (8.9) Real Madrid

It was a match to remember for Kylian Mbappe with the Frenchman scoring his first hat-trick in a Real Madrid shirt.

His third goal came from the spot but the first two were vintage Mbappe, with the forward placing the ball into the far corner with his right foot from the left of the box for both.
