After the climax of Sao Paulo and Guadalajara at the weekend, the WTA tour makes a swift return this morning with action from Seoul as world number two Iga Swiatek headlines a strong line-up.

14:05 CET - Sofia Kenin responded brilliantly to going a set down against a tough opponent in veteran Laura Siegemund to win 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 at the Seoul Open.

12:25 CET - Young German player Ella Seidel has won the battle of the qualifiers after winning a closely fought three-set encounter against Jessika Ponchet, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2.

10:10 CET - Maya Joint's impressive rise in 2025 shows no signs of slowing down with a comfortable 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) victory against Czechia's Linda Fruhvirtova.

And just a few minutes ago, Katerina Siniakova booked her place in the second round after wasting no time in beating South Korea's Sohyun Park 6-2, 6-2.

08:45 CET - The talented German Eva Lys has caused the first upset in Seoul with a dominant 6-3, 6-4 victory against Ashlyn Krueger.
