The action continues to motor on in Canada, with Toronto and Montreal playing hosts to the last of the third-round matches. Grand Slam champions Iga Swiatek, Madison Keys, Emma Raducanu, Naomi Osaka and Jelena Ostapenko headline the women's action, while American stars Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton lead the way on the men's side.

05:35 CET - Ben Shelton emerges victorious over Brandon Nakashima after an intense 6-7, 6-2, 7-6 comeback. Shelton put up an astounding 19 aces en route to his 28th win in 2025 and his fifth in five matches against Nakashima.

04:10 CET - More domination happening late in Montreal as Elina Svitolina defeats Anna Kalinskaya 6-1, 6-1 in just under 60 minutes. 

04:05 CET - Amanda Anisimova dominates in her win over Emma Raducanu 6-2, 6-1. This marks her first win over Raducanu in three matches, as Anisimova now advances to her second Round of 16 in Montreal.

02:30 CET - Over in Toronto, Taylor Fritz plays spoiler to the Canadian Gabriel Diallo on his home court, taking him out of the tournament with straight sets 6-4, 6-2

02:23 CET - Iga Swiatek takes down Eva Lys in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. This is now Swiatek's ninth consecutive win as she advances to her second-ever Round of 16 in Montreal.

01:13 CET - Flavio Cobolli defeats Fabian Marozsan 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 with seven aces as he advances to the Round of 16. This now marks 14 wins in Cobolli's last 15 matches against players outside of the top 20.

23:24 CET - Moving back to Toronto, seventh seed Frances Tiafoe has battled to a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win over Aleksandar Vukic to set up a fourth-round clash with another Aussie, Alex De Minaur.

22:22 CET - No upset for Madison Keys, the sixth seed has survived a scare to beat fellow American Caty McNally 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 and move into the fourth round in Montreal.

21:55 CET - We have our first shock of the day, and it's a massive upset! Third seed and defending champion Jessica Pegula has been dumped out of Montreal by world number 386 Anastasija Sevastova.

The 35-year-old Latvian came back to stun the American 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 and continue her fairytale run. Can she go on further? Next up, she'll take on Naomi Osaka in the fourth round.

21:12 CET - Staying in Toronto, sixth seed Andrey Rublev has navigated a tricky test to beat Lorenzo Sonego 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 and move into the Canadian Open's fourth round.

Next up for the Russian will be a meeting with the in-form Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who won earlier today.

20:50 CET - In the second result of the day in Toronto, Czech Jiri Lehecka has come back to beat France's Arthur Fils 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 and advance to the fourth round.

19:53 CET - Naomi Osaka has powered past world number 26 Jelena Ostapenko in Montreal to reach the fourth round. The Japanese star won 6-2, 6-4 in a little over an hour to continue her good form.

Clara Tauson has also advanced after beating Yuliia Starodubtseva 6-3, 6-0.

18:28 CET - Despite putting out a statement yesterday complaining about the schedule, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina needed little time to swat aside the talented teen Jakub Mensik, keeping up his good form to ease to a 6-2, 6-4 victory and move into the Toronto fourth round.

18:22 CET - In around 10 minutes, the tennis in Montreal begins, with Jelena Ostapenko and Naomi Osaka facing off in a battle of Grand Slam champions.
