It’s time for the third round at Wimbledon as Carlos Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka and Taylor Fritz all look to avoid becoming the latest big names to exit the tournament.

23:02 CET - After a seriously entertaining two hours, Aryna Sabalenka has eventually seen off Emma Raducanu, but boy, was she tested.

The Brit produced some of her best tennis since winning the US Open in 2021, leading a break in both sets and frustrating the world number one. However, despite having the crowd against her, Sabalenka's quality and experience eventually told, winning 7-6(6), 6-4 to progress to the fourth round.

Despite the loss, Raducanu can take so many positives, knowing that she pushed Sabalenka with some high-level tennis.

20:51 CET - Karen Khachanov has avoided being the latest seed to fall at Wimbledon, winning an utterly thrilling near four-hour encounter 7-6(6), 4-6, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(8) against Nuno Borges, who served for the match in the final set.

20:39 CET - It certainly wasn't all plain sailing for the two-time defending champion, but Carlos Alcaraz is into the Wimbledon fourth round! The Spaniard extended his overall winning streak to 21 matches with a hard-fought 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over the big-serving Jan-Lennard Struff, continuing his march for a hat-trick of titles and a sixth Grand Slam crown.

20:33 CET - Weeks after winning the title in 's-Hertogenbosch, Elise Mertens has put in a fantastic display on the grass courts of Wimbledon, knocking out 14th seed and former semi-finalist Elina Svitolina 6-1, 7-6(4) to progress into the fourth round.

19:59 CET - Young starlet Joao Fonseca has tumbled out of Wimbledon, falling to Chilean qualifier Nicolas Jarry in the third round, 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(4).

19:35 CET - Not many people would have predicted this ahead of the tournament, but Polish player Kamil Majchrzak is into the Wimbledon fourth round after clinching a 6-3, 7-6(4), 7-6(6) victory over the man who beat Alexander Zverev, Arthur Rinderknech.

19:18 CET - Jordan Thompson is the latest man to seal his place in the fourth round, with the Aussie seeing off Luciano Darderi in four sets, 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

18:35 CET - Britain's Cameron Norrie is through to the fourth round on home soil after a convincing 7-6(5), 6-4, 6-3 victory against Mattia Bellucci.

Norrie will face either Joao Fonseca or Nicolas Jarry in the last 16 on Sunday.

17:57 CET - Fifth seed Taylor Fritz is safely through to the next round at Wimbledon after the American survived a third-set wobble to overcome Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-4, 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-1.

16:45 CET - Andrey Rublev is the first man through to the fourth round, with the 14th seed comfortably seeing off Adrian Mannarino in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2, 6-3.

16:32 CET - Another big seed has fallen! Germany's Laura Siegemund is through to the fourth round at Wimbledon for the first time in her career after a shock 6-3, 6-3 victory over Australian Open champion Madison Keys.

Talented Czech Linda Noskova has also progressed thanks to a hard-fought 7-6(6), 7-5 triumph against Kamilla Rakhimova.

15:31 CET - Sonay Kartal is one of the Brits left in the draw leading the charge at Wimbledon, and she is now into the fourth round with a fabulous 6-4, 6-2 victory over Diane Parry. It is her first-ever Grand Slam last-16 appearance.

14:29 CET - A potential dark horse at Wimbledon, Amanda Anisimova was far from her best against Dalma Galfi, but in the end, the American came out on top 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 in a scrappy contest.

Needing a single game to win after this match was suspended last night, Ben Shelton needed just a few minutes to finish the job, beating Rinky Hijikata 6-2, 7-5, 6-4.

14:23 CET - After their match was suspended last night due to darkness, Marton Fucsovics has come out today and finished the job, defeating veteran Gael Monfils in a thrilling clash, 6-4, 1-6, 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-4.

14:15 CET - Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka is out of Wimbledon, with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova coming back from a set down to stun her opponent 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. 

14:11 CET - Lucky loser Solana Sierra continues her remarkable run at Wimbledon, overcoming Cristina Bucsa in a near two-hour battle, 7-5, 1-6, 6-1 to reach the fourth round.

14:08 CET - Home favourite Sonay Kartal is about to take on Diane Parry on No.1 court, while in 20 minutes, Taylor Fritz faces Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in a very tricky encounter on centre court.
