WinSportsGroup, Flowers' representatives, announced the deal's details to several media outlets, with the Ravens officialising the move later on. However, the team did not mention any financial details.
Currently, Flowers is tied for the fourth highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL along with Minnesota Vikings' Justin Jefferson in terms of average annual value (AAV). Jaxon Smith-Njigba from the Seattle Seahawks ($42.15 million), the Cincinnati Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase ($40.25 million), and Drake London of the Atlanta Falcons ($35.26 million) are the only three who have a higher AAV.
Flowers was given the day off on Tuesday, which allowed for him to put pen to paper on the new deal.
"It's one thing to have chemistry off the field. It's one thing to have it on the field," said the Ravens' new head coach Jesse Minter on Flowers' chemistry with quarterback Lamar Jackson. "I think when you have both, it makes it really, really special. It has the ability to go to a ridiculously high level. They do a lot of things together. They train in the offseason. They push each other to pull the best out of each other."
The 2026 season will be the last for the 25-year-old's rookie contract, which is valued at $14 million. However, the Ravens had also chose to activate his $27.3 million option, which will come into effect for the 2027 campaign. As such, Flowers will not be a free agent until the conclusion of the 2031 season.
So far, he has played 50 games (48 starts) in the NFL after being picked 22nd overall from Boston College in the 2023 NFL Draft. During his time in the league, Flowers has 237 catches for 3,128 yards plus 14 touchdowns. He enjoyed consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in 2024 and 2025, and was selected for the Pro Bowl in the two seasons.
Despite only playing three years with the team so far, Flowers has the franchise record of 1,211 receiving yards from the 2025 season. He is also top five in pass receptions and yardage in Ravens history.
