Flagg, 19, finished the game with 51 points on 19-30 shooting (6-9 3PT, 7-7 FT) with six rebounds, three assists, and three steals in 34 minutes.
The No. 1 overall pick from the 2025 NBA Draft has proven to live up to the hype. He's averaging 20.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game this season and now has nine games with at least 30 points this season and 31 games with at least 20 points.
He has 12 double-doubles on the season and became the first rookie in NBA history to also have back-to-back 30-point double-doubles.
On December 15, 2025, Flagg broke LeBron James' 22-year record for the most points ever scored by an 18-year-old when he dropped 42 - James had 37 - as he became the youngest player to ever score 40 in a game.
And to top it off, Flagg reached 1,000 career points, 300 rebounds, and 200 assists in his first 50 career games.
Unfortunately for the Mavericks, they're officially eliminated from the playoffs and currently sit with a 24-53 record after losing to the Magic 138-127.
