22:43 CET - Inter Milan have extended their lead at the Serie A summit to nine points after a thrilling 4-3 comeback win over fifth-placed Como.
Faced with a two-goal deficit, Cristian Chivu's men recovered in superb fashion, as braces from Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries turned the match in the Nerazzurri's favour.
A late penalty from Lucas Da Cunha threatened to salvage a point for Cesc Fabregas' side, but Inter held firm under late pressure to secure a crucial three points.

22:08 CET - Goals from Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries have fired Serie A leaders Inter 3-2 ahead at Como with time ticking into the final half-hour.
21:37 CET - Como lead Serie A frontrunners Inter at half-time, with goals from Alex Valle and Nico Paz putting Cesc Fabregas' men 2-1 in front.

21:28 CET - Over in the Bundesliga, Freiburg have consolidated their place in eighth after a hard-fought 1-0 victory at in-form Mainz.
Lucas Holer scored the all-important goal for Julian Schuster's side, as they extended their impressive unbeaten run in head-to-heads to 10 matches (W4, D6).

20:11 CET - The final match of the day in Spain pits Athletic Club against Villarreal in Bilbao.
With the clubs directly below them all failing to win this weekend, third-placed Villarreal will know that they can take a huge step towards Champions League qualification with a win, and those results also mean that Athletic Club will very much stay in with a chance of playing European football next season if they claim victory themselves.
19:51 CET - The biggest game left on this weekend's agenda is taking place in Como, where the fifth-placed hosts go up against Serie A leaders Inter.
A win for the visitors will see them go nine points clear at the top, but picking up all three points won't be easy, with Como unbeaten in eight and looking to claim a win that would move them back up to fourth.
This is how the sides line up:

19:40 CET - Stuttgart have taken a huge step towards Champions League qualification by claiming a 4-0 win over Hamburg that leaves them four points clear of fifth-placed Bayer Leverkusen.
19:27 CET - It's all over in West London, where Man City have reignited the title fight thanks to a stunning second-half display against Chelsea.
That 3-0 win leaves Guardiola's side six points behind Arsenal with a game in hand and an absolutely massive clash with the Gunners next weekend. If they win both of those matches, they'll go top.
As for Chelsea, they're now four points behind in the race for the final Champions League spot and are just three points clear of 11th-placed Bournemouth. If they don't improve, they could end up fighting to finish in the top half.

18:59 CET - City are running rampant! Jeremy Doku has made it 3-0 to seal the win and, crucially, make his side's goal difference just three worse off then Arsenal's. That could be crucial in the title fight.
18:45 CET - Oh, make that 2-0. Marc Guehi has finished off a great move to fire City into a commanding lead now. Title race on!

18:40 CET - Manchester City have taken the lead over Chelsea, and the goal has come from Nico O'Reilly. The nominal left-back has popped up in the box with another headed finish! He's so adept at that: 1-0 to City.

18:20 CET - It's half-time at Stamford Bridge and still goalless between Chelsea and Manchester City, who are desperate to capitalise on Arsenal's loss yesterday with a win.
Check out the key first-half stats below, or have a closer look here.

18:11 CET - Mallorca have earned a massive 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga, which sees the Islanders surge out of the bottom three and up to 15th. They are now only four points off the top half, in what is an incredibly tight lower mid-table.

See the full LaLiga standings here.
17:04 CET - The Premier League's three afternoon matches are over with Roberto De Zerbi losing his first match in charge of troubled Tottenham, 1-0 to Sunderland. Elsewhere, Newcastle were beaten 2-1 by Crystal Palace, and Forest earned a vital point against Aston Villa.

Given West Ham's win on Friday and Forest's point, Spurs now find themselves inside the relegation zone and two points from safety.
It's not looking like an easy assignment for De Zerbi at all... Next up, Chelsea host Manchester City at Stamford Bridge!

16:53 CET - Well, a big result has fallen Inter's way in Serie A as second-placed Napoli have failed to beat Parma, drawing 1-1 on the road, despite dominating with 74 % possession and 20 shots to three.
With that point, the Partenopei are three clear of AC Milan in third, but still six adrift of Inter, who play later today at Como. It just feels like no one wants to get the title race going in Italy this season...

16:20 CET - The game of the day today, arguably, is Man City's clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, which kicks off in just over an hour.
Pep Guardiola's side would cut the gap to Premier League leaders Arsenal to just six points if they win today. With a game in hand and a fixture against the Gunners next week, the title race could ignite this evening.
Liam Rosenior's side, however, will have their own ambitions as they look to close in on Liverpool, who currently occupy the last Champions League berth. It's a certified blockbuster at the Bridge!
Erling Haaland, Antoine Semenyo and Rodri all start for City; check out the lineups below:

15:55 CET - The first LaLiga match of the day has ended in a 1-1 draw between Osasuna and Real Betis.
For Betis, the result leaves them vulnerable in fifth place as Celta Vigo could leapfrog them today with a win over rock-bottom Real Oviedo, which kicks off at 18:30 CET.
Next up in Spain, though, Mallorca host Rayo Vallecano, and a win would see Los Piratas jump out of the bottom three.

15:50 CET - It’s half-time in the Premier League’s afternoon kick-offs, and there aren't too many goals to report with two of three games still level.

Forest and Aston Villa are locked at 1-1, while it’s still goalless between Sunderland and Spurs. Meanwhile, Newcastle lead Crystal Palace thanks to a score late in the first half from William Osula.
Over in Serie A, Napoli are trailing Parma 1-0 at the break, with work to do.

14:25 CET - The first Serie A match of the day has ended, and it's a big win for Daniele De Rossi's Genoa, who have edged Sassuolo 2-1 to go nine points clear of the bottom three.
Next up in Italy, Napoli take on Parma, looking to go within four points of league leaders Inter.

13:50 CET - New Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi has named the first starting XI of his reign, for the match against Sunderland, from 15:00 CET.
There aren't too many huge surprises in the selection. However, reserve keeper Antonin Kinsky does come in for the injured Guglielmo Vicario.
Remember, Kinsky was hooked after 17 minutes in his last outing, Spurs' 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid. De Zerbi will be hoping for something a little less calamitous this afternoon...
The Italian has opted for plenty of firepower, picking Dominic Solanke, Richarlison and Randal Kolo Muani to start.

Elsewhere in the Premier League from 15:00 CET, Nottingham Forest host Aston Villa, and Newcastle face Crystal Palace.
11:45 CET - Today's lunchtime kick-off in Italy sees Genoa hosting Sassuolo, with the latter comfortably in mid-table but the former not out of trouble yet.
Daniele De Rossi's side are still only six points clear of the drop zone, making a win today all the more important. Check out how the sides line up below, and follow the action from 12:30 CET here.

07:15 CET - Welcome back to our coverage of the weekend's football around Europe's top leagues. We have laid out the day's highlights above, and as you can see, there is plenty to look forward to on what is another super Sunday.

Before the main fixtures get going for the day from 15:00 CET, we have a lunchtime match to enjoy in Serie A with Genoa hosting Sassuolo from 12:30 CET. Then, at 14:00 CET, the LaLiga action gets going for the day, with Real Betis taking on Osasuna. Those should tide you over until the main courses!
Saturday, April 11th
23:05 CET - Sevilla are now three points clear of the relegation zone in LaLiga after a crucial 2-1 victory over a youthful Atletico Madrid side.
First-half goals from Akor Adams and Nemanja Gudelj did the damage for Luis Garcia Plaza's men, ending a run of three consecutive top-flight defeats.
As for Atleti, they remain comfortably fourth in the table, as their attention quickly shifts towards the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final with Barcelona on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, in Ligue 1, Rennes have risen to fifth in the table thanks to a narrow 2-1 triumph over Angers. That's now six wins in eight league games for Les Rouge et Noirs.

22:39 CET - Juventus have climbed to fourth in Serie A after Jeremie Boga's 48th-minute strike proved to be the difference in a really hard-fought 1-0 victory over Atalanta in Bergamo.
La Dea racked up an xG of 1.76 but were unable to breach the visitors' defence, as Luciano Spalletti's side extended their unbeaten league run to six matches (W4, D2).
Read the full match report here.

21:56 CET - It's been an entertaining opening period at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, where hosts Sevilla lead Atletico Madrid 2-1 thanks to goals from Akor Adams and Nemanja Gudelj.
Javier Bonar was the goalscorer for the visitors, with the 20-year-old Spaniard netting on his first-team debut.
Follow the second half right here!

21:35 CET - We've reached the break in Bergamo, where Atalanta have looked more likely to score having taken 11 shots to Juve's three, but it's goalless at the halfway point.
21:00 CET - It's fair to say that Diego Simeone's focus is on Atletico Madrid's second leg against Barcelona next week, with the manager making 10 changes for his side's clash away to Sevilla, which has just begun.

20:45 CET - The big games just keep on coming this evening, with seventh-placed Atalanta and fifth-placed Juventus now kicking off their crucial Serie A clash. The hosts can move to within a point of the European places with a win, while three points for the visitors would take them up to fourth.
20:38 CET - It was a fine day's work for the reigning German champions too, with Bayern stepping things up to beat St. Pauli and take their Bundesliga goal tally for the season to a record-breaking 105. Not a bad way to prepare for their second leg with Real Madrid.
20:32 CET - It's all over in Barcelona, and the hosts have won the derby with their local rivals to go nine points clear at the top of LaLiga.
Espanyol briefly made it interesting when they pulled it back to 2-1, but Lamine Yamal and Marcus Rashford then got late goals to seal a big win for the reigning champions.
20:24 CET - A rare event has occurred at Anfield, where Liverpool have held to claim victory against Fulham without much trouble at all, doing their chances of qualifying for the Champions League the world of good and giving themselves a much-needed confidence boost ahead of their second leg with PSG.
The star of the show was Ngumoha, who Slot will have to seriously consider starting against the French champions now.

19:57 CET - It's full-time in Milan, where Max Allegri's side have endured an absolutely disastrous evening.
Udinese scored a third in the second half to pile on the misery and leave the Rossoneri trailing second-placed Napoli having played a match more. Rather than challenging for the title, they now need to worry about holding onto a spot in the top four.

19:19 CET - They have mid-week Champions League quarter-finals to think about, but Liverpool, Barca and Bayern didn't hold anything back in those first halves.
Mo Salah doubled the Reds' lead with a lovely finish, while Ferran bagged his second of the game for the LaLiga leaders, converting a stunning through ball from Lamine Yamal.
It's still only 1-0 in Munich, but that one goal was enough for Bayern to have now scored the joint-most goals in a single Bundesliga season.
19:07 CET - Liverpool take the lead in style! After jinking inside with a few stepovers, 17-year-old Rio Ngumoha curled the ball perfectly into the far corner to make it 1-0 at Anfield!

18:47 CET - AC Milan title chances look set to be ended once and for all, with Udinese bagging twice within 10 minutes to enter the break 2-0 up at the San Siro.
Things are going better for the giants in Spain and Germany, with Ferran Torres and Jamal Musiala giving Barca and Bayern early leads.
18:00 CET - Two Premier League matches have just wrapped up with Europe-chasing Brentford and Everton playing out a dramatic 2-2 draw, and Brighton earning a 2-0 win over relegation-threatened Burnley.
The draw between the Bees and Toffees suits neither really, with both still outside the top six, and Brighton now breathing down their necks. Next up, it's over to Liverpool to take control of fifth place when they host Fulham.

17:40 CET - In the next hour, four huge matches are kicking off! As mentioned below, Liverpool are hosting Fulham at half-past six.
At the same time, both Barcelona and Bayern are in action in their respective leagues, with Barca taking on city rivals Espanyol and Bayern away at St. Pauli.
Check out the starting lineups for the Barcelona derby below. Harry Kane is on the bench today as Bayern opt to rotate for their match.

Before those clashes, however, AC Milan take to the field in Italy at the hour against Udinese, looking to leapfrog Napoli back into second place.
Catch up on the earlier Serie A scores here.
17:27 CET - The four afternoon matches in the Bundesliga have wrapped up, and Bayer Leverkusen have earned an important 1-0 win over hosts Dortmund, which sees them break into the top five.

RB Leipzig have also won 1-0, over Borussia Monchengladbach, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Heidenheim also picking up wins.
Catch up on the Bundesliga scores here.
17:16 CET - The lineups are in for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Fulham, which kicks off at 18:30 CET.
17-year-old Rio Ngumoha earns a rare start for the Reds, who will be desperate to snap their three-match losing run. Check out the XIs below:

16:40 CET - The first LaLiga match of the day was an absolute epic with Basque rivals Real Sociedad and Alaves playing out a heated 3-3 draw.
Currently, Elche are hosting Valencia in a match that could have big ramifications in the relegation battle. At 18:30 CET, it's the big one of the day in Spain: the derby between Barcelona and Espanyol.

16:17 CET - At half-time in the ongoing Bundesliga matches, Bayer Leverkusen are leading their hosts Dortmund 1-0, thanks to a goal late in the half from Robert Andrich.
Elsewhere, Heidenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt are in control of their fixtures.
Follow all the Bundesliga games here.
15:26 CET - It's all over at the Emirates, and Arsenal have lost! Alex Scott's late goal has earned Bournemouth a 2-1 win over the Premier League leaders, and this could be a huge turning point in the title race as it means the Premier League crown is no longer just in the Gunners' hands...
With Manchester City nine points behind, with two games in hand and facing Arsenal next week, Pep Guardiola's side will win the league if they win their remaining games! The same goes for Arsenal, meaning it couldn't be closer.
As for the Cherries, they are up into the top half for the time being, and still in the hunt for Europe.
Catch up on all the match stats here.

15:05 CET - Alex Scott has put Bournemouth into the lead over Arsenal late on! The midfielder finished off a tidy move to make it 2-1, and there are only 15 minutes or so to go... Is there an upset on here?
That is Scott's third goal in the Premier League this season, his first since the 31st of January against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

14:55 CET - Two more Premier League matches kick off at 16:00 CET with Burnley hosting Brighton, and Everton away at Brentford. The latter of those two matches could have huge ramifications...
Both sides are level on points in seventh/eighth, and whoever wins today is set to leapfrog Chelsea and go equal with Liverpool in fifth. There's a real chance one of these two could make the Champions League next season! Find out how they'll lineup below:

14:40 CET - At half-past three, four Bundesliga matches are kicking off, with RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt both in action. However, the pick of the bunch is undoubtedly Dortmund's clash with Bayer Leverkusen.
While Bayer are down in sixth and so not in direct competition with second-place Dortmund, they are still chasing a European place. There is thus plenty at stake in this clash of Rhine-Ruhr near neighbours. Check out the starting lineups below and follow all the Bundesliga matches here.

14:18 CET - That's half-time at the Emirates, and it is 1-1 between Arsenal and Bournemouth. Take a look at the key stats from the first period below:

That action has started in Spain for the day as well, with a Basque derby underway between Real Sociedad and Alaves.
14:07 CET - Viktor Gyokers has scored from the spot to bring Arsenal back on level terms with Bournemouth - it's 1-1. The penalty was awarded after an unfortunate handball, conceded by Ryan Christie.
Arsenal have scored their last 16 penalties in the Premier League, last failing to score on the 16th of April, 2023, against West Ham (that penalty missed by Bukayo Saka).

13:48 CET - Bournemouth have taken a shock lead over Arsenal at the Emirates through Eli Junior Kroupi. The young Frenchman was on hand to tap in after a cross took a wicked deflection, which ballooned it over David Raya.
Impressively, that is Kroupi's 10th goal of the Premier League season - it's a proper breakout campaign for the 19-year-old!

13:31 CET - The first Premier League game of the day, between leaders Arsenal and Bournemouth, is underway at the Emirates!
The Gunners would go a whopping 12 points clear if they win today, albeit having played two games more than Man City. But still, that would be some gap to close.
Follow all the action from North London via the link above!

12:30 CET - We're just an hour away from the start of today's matches, and the lineups are in for Arsenal vs Bournemouth.
Myles Lewis-Skelly makes his first league start since December for the hosts, who are without Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber due to injuries.
Fresh off making his Brazil debut in the international break, 19-year-old Rayan starts for Bournemouth.

07:20 CET - Before we get stuck into Saturday's action, let's recap all the drama from what was a packed Friday night...
The standout result yesterday was surely LaLiga giants Real Madrid dropping more points, this time via a disappointing 1-1 draw at home against Girona. That means Barcelona have the chance to go a whole nine points clear at the summit today in the derby against Espanyol, which could be the title race all but done!

In Serie A, Roma thumped struggling Pisa 3-0 to keep the heat on Como and Juventus, who currently occupy fourth and fifth spots in the standings. Atalanta are also in the frame for the race for the Champions League places in Italy, and that looks to be going down to the wire. As mentioned above, La Dea host the Old Lady this evening.
Speaking of European places, Marseille drove back into Ligue 1's top three with a 3-1 win over Metz on Friday, while previously red-hot Monaco were stunned 4-1 by Paris FC in a real blow to their Champions League hopes.

In the Premier League, West Ham thrashed rock-bottom Wolves 4-0 to leap out of the bottom three, at least for the time being. While in the Bundesliga, Augsburg and Hoffenheim played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.
