Albert Gronbaek's debut for Hamburger SV will be delayed as the Danish internation attacking midfielder has sustained a thigh injury which is set to keep him out for at least a couple of weeks.

The 24-year-old attacking player suffered an injury in his right thigh during training with the team who are currently in eleventh place, said the club on Wednesday following an MRI scan. Gronbaek is "expected to be sidelined for a few weeks," a read  a statement ahead of the match against Union Berlin on Saturday.

HSV had brought in the Dane on loan from Stade Rennes at the end of January for the rest of the season. In addition to Gronbaek, HSV are currently also missing midfield engine Sambi Lokonga and attacking players Alexander Rössing-Lelesiit and Fabio Baldé.
