Til, 28, picked up an unknown injury in this week's training and was immediately ruled out for several weeks, with his rehab already in progress.
Guus Til is PSV's top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie with 12 goals. The midfielder has acted as PSV's de facto striker in recent months, while strikers Ricardo Pepi, Myron Boadu and Alassane Plea all dealt with longer-term injuries.
"Of course, I would have liked to continue on that path, especially because I was feeling good and we are doing something really great as a team," Til said on the club website.
"But unfortunately, these kinds of minor setbacks are also part of top-level sport. I will do everything I can to come back as quickly and as strong as possible."
Besides the league games against Heerenveen and Heracles Almelo, Til will likely also miss PSV's KNVB Beker semifinal against NEC on March 3rd.
Boadu recently returned to the matchday squad after recovering from a hamstring injury and will likely serve as the team's main striker for the weeks to come.
