Last weekend's Eredivisie action saw eight teams take home wins, two win their first Eredivisie games of the season, and, like every week, eleven players shine the brightest.

It was a week in which none of the top teams made great impressions. Feyenoord scraped a 1-0 win away at FC Groningen, PSV looked vulnerable against Excelsior in their 2-1 win, and Ajax escaped against NAC Breda, who lost 2-1 after going down to ten men.

It was also the week in which FC Volendam and Heracles Almelo won their first games of the Eredivisie season, beating PEC Zwolle and Sparta Rotterdam. And NEC, who lost their previous three games after winning their first three, returned to winning ways.

But who stood out most? Here are the top performers from round 7 of the Eredivisie, according to Flashscore's ratings system.

GK: Timon Wellenreuther (Feyenoord) - 7.9

Wellenreuther's fourth clean sheet in five Eredivisie games did not go unnoticed. The German stopper made five saves and prevented an accumulated xG of 0.71 against FC Groningen. And he even won an aerial duel.

DEF: Jordan Bos (Feyenoord) - 8.5

Australian Bos has really found his way at Feyenoord, the club his father has supported from a young age. Against FC Groningen, Jordan Bos notched his first assist of the season after already having scored twice so far.

Furthermore, the offensive left-back recorded a team-high 83 touches and 15 duels, of which he won nine. Bos also cleared the ball eight times and completed 40 of 46 passes, 10 of which came in the final third.

DEF: Souffian El Karouani (FC Utrecht) - 8.4

Think FC Utrecht are happy about Souffian El Karouani staying in the Domstad?

The Moroccan full-back has been crucial all season and already has 10 goal contributions to his name. Against sc Heerenveen, El Karouani scored an admirable opener, won 11 duels, completed four tackles, and completed two dribbles.

Utrecht only snatched a point from a 2-2 draw, but always have El Karouani to rely upon.

DEF: Ahmetcan Kaplan (NEC) - 8.1

As soon as he joined NEC, young Turk Ahmetcan Kaplan got a spot in the starting lineup. In NEC's 2-1 win over AZ, Kaplan reminded everyone why Ajax paid €9.5 million for him back in 2023.

Despite grabbing a yellow card, Kaplan was a force in defence. The tall centre-half was involved in 26(!) duels, winning 17 of them. Kaplan also won all four of his tackles, cleared the ball ten times, was fouled four times, and intercepted one ball in 90 minutes.

DEF: Yarek Gasiorowski (PSV) - 8.3

It wasn't shiny, but PSV got the job done against Heracles. Yarek Gasiorowski's stability at the back was of great help in their 2-1 win away at Excelsior.

The Spaniard excellently held the centre of the defence down along with Ryan Flamingo, recording seven won duels, 10 clearances, one interception, and even two successful dribbles on 100 touches.

DEF: Bart van Rooij (FC Twente) - 8.1

For the second week in a row, Bart van Rooij has made it into Flashscore's Team of the Week, and it's easy to see why.

Van Rooij has shone in John van den Brom's system and was crucial in Twente's 3-2 win over Fortuna Sittard, recording a goal and an assist along with five won duels, 40 completed passes (89%), and two clearances.

MID: Robin van Cruijsen (FC Volendam) - 7.9

FC Volendam finally got into the win column, and for the second week in a row, Robin van Cruijsen was an instrumental piece in Rick Kruys's team.

The 19-year-old midfielder made his first start for Volendam last week and scored the team's only goal in a 2-1 loss to Excelsior. Given the trust of Kruys again, Van Cruijsen pulled the strings in Volendam's midfield with four created chances, of which two big chances, four completed crosses, and the assist to Brandley Kuwas' winning goal.

MID: Joey Veerman (PSV) - 9.0 (Player of the Week)

With his third 9.0+ rating and for the second time this season, PSV star Joey Veerman has grabbed the top rating in a Team of the Week.

With Excelsior leading in the early stages, Veerman scored a wonderful free kick in the 19th minute to erase PSV's bad start in Rotterdam. However, the goal was not Veerman's only contribution to PSV's eventual win.

The Volendam native created four chances and sent 28 passes into the final third. Defensively, Veerman won possession six times, won six duels, had two interceptions, and won a tackle - an all-round excellent performance from our two-time Player of the Week.

MID: Oscar Gloukh (Ajax) - 8.3

After weeks of sitting on the bench following his 15-million-euro move from Red Bull Salzburg, Gloukh got the start against NAC Breda after a strong outing against PSV.

The creative midfielder completed five dribbles, created two chances, took the team's most shots with three, and scored the opener in a more than poor game from Ajax, whose fans have been proven right in demanding Gloukh to get more minutes.

FW: Bryan Linssen (NEC) - 8.1

Bryan Linssen might not have bagged a goal in September, but the veteran forward makes his presence known at NEC regardless.

The 1.70m (5'5) tall Linssen assisted both of NEC's goals with his head and was a constant threat, recording five touches in AZ's box, creating two big chances, and even winning three tackles.

FW: Jizz Hornkamp (Heracles Almelo) - 8.4

Heracles were still winless after six games and facing an enormous uphill battle to get back in the survival fight. And just as they needed him, up stood Jizz Hornkamp.

The 27-year-old shone with two excellent goals, leading Heracles to a much-relieving 3-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam.
