Manchester City are reportedly ahead of the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal in the race to sign Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson.

It’s been widely reported that Man City are looking to sign a new central midfielder this summer, with Bernardo Silva set to leave.

Anderson, 23, is one of the most sought-after players in the Premier League at the moment, having had an impressive season at struggling Nottingham Forest.

According to Sky Sports, City are the frontrunners to secure the services of Anderson this summer, but the race isn’t over yet.

Arsenal and Man United are both keen on signing the England international, who could cost around £100 million.
