On Sunday Jacob Neestrup's men won 1-0 away against FC Nordsjaelland, taking their second successive win after a bad spell in the last three matches of the regular season without a win.
Thanks to the win on the artificial turf in Farum, the visitors took over first place in the Superliga with two points more than Danish champions FC Midtjylland, who have lost the team's first two matches in the championship playoffs to Brondby and most recently Friday's away fixture in Randers.

The only goal in a drab match without many highligts came after 64 minutes and was scored by FC Copenhagen's teenage striker Amin Chiakha, who scored his first goal in the Superliga after 11 league matches without a goal.
Thanks to the defeat FC Nordsjaelland remains in last place in the championship playoffs, now 12 points behind FC Copenhagen.
In the other matches on Sunday, Silkeborg kept up their hopes for seventh spot when they took a 2-1 win at home against Lyngby while Vejle and AaB shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Last but not least Viborg recorded their third successive win with a 2-1 win at home against Sonderjyske.
